'I believe I can identify the players: Number 20 looks to be Fleming MacKell,
and Number 18, Les Costello. Total Hockey lists MacKell and Costello playing
together as Hornets during the 1947-48, 1948-49, and 1949-50
American Hockey League seasons. Both were members of Stanley Cup-winning
teams with the Toronto Maple Leafs, (Costello in 1948; MacKell in 1949 and 1951)
and as I'm sure you know, Les Costello (now deceased) went on to become
Father Les Costello, who for years served in a Roman Catholic parish
in Timmins, Ontario. Also, for many hockey seasons, Father Costello was
the leader of a touring amateur club called The Flying Fathers,
which played in exhibition games for charity, and was made up of Catholic priests'
